Asia Pacific Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities

Pre-sales:

  • Evaluate customers and tender specifications and technical requirements
  • Define, develop, encrypt, argument technical solutions
  • Visit customers with the Area Sales Manager when necessary
  • Define and follow-up projects
  • Prepare quotations
  • Track orders

 

Technical Support:

  • Ensure a Technical support to our customers on our products for any technical enquiry, analysis and diagnostics
  • Perform site interventions for commissioning in the Asia-Pacific area
  • Train customers on LACROIX Sofrel products in the Asia-Pacific area
  • Process technical validation
  • Develop applications

 

Requirements

  • Candidates with at least 5 years of relevant experience in technical field and customer services
  • Ability to generate, propose and present technical solutions
  • Ability to listen, analyze and synthesize
  • Good Knowledge with Automation, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Computing (programming languages: ST, Ladder...) Industrial networks and IP networks
  • Skills for using Windows Operating Systems and Office
  • Candidate will be required to be rigorous and autonomous
  • Candidates will be required to read, write and speak in English fluently
  • Good team player and proactive attitude
  • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Geographical mobility in Asia/Pacific area

 

Role and hierarchy

  • Reports to the International Sales Manager and will work on a day to day basis with pre-sales and technical support departments in France
